Who am I

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a photographer with a heart rooted in family, fueled by a deep love for capturing genuine, unscripted moments. The kind of moments that often pass unnoticed but mean the most—the crinkled eyes of a child’s laughter, the way a parent holds their little one’s hand, or the quiet strength in someone’s eyes when they don’t even realize they’re being seen.

Before photography became my sanctuary, I spent years serving children and families in foster care. I began as a case manager and transitioned to being a teacher, where I found my love for education, eventually opening a private school for children—- of whom came from backgrounds in foster care. The school was built on hope, love, and the belief that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. It lived inside a foster care group home, and it was one of the most meaningful chapters of my life.

But life doesn’t always go according to plan.

When the group home closed, I found myself heartbroken and unsure of what was next. I had poured everything into that mission. I needed a way to channel that passion—something to help me heal, refocus, and still make a difference.

That’s when photography found me… or maybe, it saved me.

Behind the lens, I discovered a new way to serve—by capturing beauty in chaos, strength in struggle, and light in the shadows. I learned firsthand that beauty really can come from ashes, and that sometimes, the most powerful moments are the ones you never planned for.

Now, I use my camera to tell stories—yours, mine, and the stories that words alone can’t quite capture. Every session is a chance to freeze a feeling, to honor a connection, and to celebrate the messy, beautiful reality of life.

If you’re looking for a photographer who values authenticity, who sees beauty in the real and raw, and who knows that sometimes the most imperfect moments are the most perfect—let’s connect.

Let’s make something meaningful together.
